If DWIC2022 could not take place on the dates scheduled our contract with the venue is bound by the following clause:
Force Majeure Event: an event, or a series of related events, that is outside the reasonable control of the party affected including (but not limited to) failures of the internet or any public telecommunications network, hacker attacks, denial of service attacks, virus or other malicious software attacks or infections, power failures, industrial disputes affecting any third party, changes to the law, directions or orders by a governmental or judicial authority with appropriate jurisdiction, major epidemic or sickness, quarantines, disasters, explosions, fires, floods, riots, terrorist attacks and wars;
Should this happen, we would work with the venue to reschedule the event, to take place within 12 months of the original date. Delegate fees would be retained and only refunded if the delegate was unable to attend on the new date.
It is the responsibility of the delegate to ensure they have their own insurance cover for travel/accommodation. As the organiser we do not provide travel and accommodation.
If for any reason you are unable to attend the event, then standard cancellation terms for the delegate fee will be applied:
Less than 90 days from the date of the event – 50% cancellation charge |
Less than 30 days – 100% cancellation charge |
In certain cases, we as the organiser, will consider carrying the delegate fee over to the following year.
DWIC2022 will follow the COVID safety protocols set and updated by the Dubai Government. All delegates will be asked to wear a mask whilst indoors and walking around the venue. This is mandatory. Delegates may remove masks when eating and drinking and when sat at a table for a meeting.
The safe distancing rules continue to be 2 metres however this may change ahead of the event. All we ask is for our delegation to be responsible and to manage their own safe distance when there are groups of people gathering together.
Hand sanitiser stations will available at the event.
Hosted by Global Reinsurance, The Dubai World Insurance Congress (DWIC) re-imagines the traditional conference to provide attendees with unrivalled networking, business and thought leadership opportunities, all under one roof.
