Dr. Arash Nasseri is a senior manager and principal engineer in the research and modeling group on the extreme event solutions team at Verisk. He has been involved in developing and updating vulnerability modules for many of Verisk’s earthquake models. In addition, Arash leads the development of vulnerability modules for specialty lines of business including marine and builder’s risks. Arash has also had extensive experience in the seismic design of buildings and industrial structures. He holds a PhD in structural engineering from Northeastern University.
