Managing Director, Maksure Risk Solutions

Simba has more than one and a half decades of diversified experience and broking expertise spanning across the entire insurance and reinsurance industry. He started his career with Aon Re before joining the world’s leading cell captive insurance company, Guardrisk in South Africa. He joined Maksure Risk Solutions in 2013 and currently serves as the Managing Director for the global operations. His core competencies and skills are in reinsurance broking, cell captive formulation and management, risk management, insurance risk modelling and developing world class relationships.
Simba is a Lloyd’s of London registered and approved broker, with direct access to a unique pool of underwriting expertise and capacity in the Lloyd’s global marketplace.
Simba is a Fellow of the Insurance Institute of South Africa and an Associate in Reinsurance at the Insurance Institute of America by examination. He holds an Masters in Business Administration from Gordon Institute of Business Science as well as an Honours Degree in Insurance and Risk Management from NUST, Zimbabwe.
