EVP Operations & Consumer Claims & Engineering Services at Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC).
I currently oversee the service functions at ADNIC, including Centralized Operations for Consumer & Commercial Lines of Business, Consumer Claims, Contact Centre, Consumer Lines Services from Branch & Service Centre’s, Engineering Services, PMO office and IT.
Prior to joining ADNIC, I was the Chief Operations Officer at Noor Takaful and responsible for Country wide Service functions of the Company ranging from Central & Retail Operations, Claims, Information Technology & Process delivery and Client Servicing, Marketing for Medical, Family and General businesses. Before joining Noor Takaful, I was spearheading setup of various start-up entities with Noor Bank and Banque Saudi Fransi (part of Calyon Group).
My background includes +20 years of extensive related experience in Operations, Claims, Banc-assurance, Finance, & Quality in the financial services sector in the GCC. I have held various managerial positions to deliver key solutions for various initiatives launched by these companies. This includes implementation of core insurance and banking solutions. I also played a pivotal role in overseeing the pilot project for conversion of Conventional branches to Sharia’a compliant branches for a Saudi Bank.
I am an Associate member of Chartered Insurance Institute UK with the designation of Chartered Insurer. I have completed my Executive Certificates in 3 areas of concentration : Leadership, Strategy & Innovation and Technology, Operations & Value Chain Management (TOVCM) from MIT Sloan School of Management. I am a regular speaker and panel expert in various International Insurance conferences. I recently represented ADNIC as part of the UAE Ministry of Economy Official Mission to USA for Innovation and Corporate Venture Capitals. I have also acted as an ADNIC mentor to various startups under InsureTech Accelerator programs.
